the brilliantly simple. started out as a one-man experiment of loop pedals and sample pads. Through obvious restrictions and the longing for that full-band essence, a four-friend collective formed what it is today – an abrasive indie rock outfit from in and around the Surrey Hills. Without claiming to be innovative, we endeavour to deliver a pleasing concoction of big sounds with occasional climax, tranquil breakdowns and meaningful lyrics. We wholly hope you enjoy it.x

Back once again...

Greetings,

After returning from southern continents and getting over just how crappy England looks when comparing it to sun-filled coastlines, we've started booking a few shows again and getting our act together for the upcoming months.

Whilst away, we were honoured to be featured on Big Scary Monsters' BSM '11. If you're unfamiliar, it consists of a track a week from bands around the country who have earned a nod from the indie record label. Get involved by clicking the link above - there are some great bands in there.

Speaking of BSM, we're playing with one of its highly notable bands, Talons, on 29th April at the Boileroom, Guildford. It's the last night of their tour, so it should be awesome. Come on down for noodles and big, BIG music.

As well as other shows that you can see on the right, that's about it for now. Other than that we had a practice the other day in a barn, which had a shetland pony that stared at you every time you went outside for a break. There was also a dog called Molly who liked Dan's crotch.

Love.

Be sure to check out Killington Fall, who we hope to be playing with in the future.

Be sure to check out That Mouth, who are imminent.
